My wrist is small at 6.4 inches and I own a regular Black Bay (which is 41mm) and a Black Bay 36. In my opinion, the Black Bay 36 will suit a wrist size of up to 7.0-inches.

I had a 45.5mm Omega PO which I got mainly due to its its size as a novelty but I quickly grew out of that novelty phase. I used to have a Planet Ocean Chrono which comes in at 45.5 and I have a 7 1/4 inch wrist. I love the looks of these big watches but at the end of the day they are just too big to be daily wearers. Gorgeous timepieces but really not a watch to wear every day. The lugs of the Sea-Dweller Deepsea are sharper than the boxy lugs that you’ll find on every modern sub. That extreme tapering makes a huge difference to the wearability of the watch and, most importantly for a watch of these dimensions, its silhouette. Yes, it is bigger than the Submariner.
