the intense lacks the apple note and therefore comes across less sweet, more fresh and mature. Apparently there's barely a difference. I'm going to get intense as apparently it's a bit more mature and smoother. I found EDP to be very piercing. One is more intense than the other. There’s a huge difference to my nose.

Y EDP is a fragrance where you want to gain attention, Le Parfum is the exact opposite. I used to own Y EDP. Sold it because I found it much more synthetic that any Invictus and just too generic, which is weird because I don’t really find fragrances generic. Lhomme Le Parfum is like the original Lhomme with added performance and a modenized .
thoughts on YSL y EDP. I recently bought ysl y edp as my second fragrance since almost everyone said it was a nice pleasant all year round versatile fragrance which was pretty clean. This seemed like a good buy to me as a newby. I got it in today and smelled it but it wasn't what i expected and i didn't like it that much. L'Homme is a very soft fragrance, nice smelling, alluring for the ladies but sadly it doesn't last more than 3-4 hours, moderate projection only in the first two. It makes up for it in terms of smell but do not buy it if you don't intend to reapply often throughout the day. La Nuit de L'Homme is one of the best date scents out there, even today .
Edp intense is more aromatic, less sweet but you can pick up the ysl y dna very easily. I guess in the air smells very similar to y edp. Y edp intense smells more serious with a basic smell and the y edp smells more playful. Both are really good though. The Og EDP is better in my opinion. Freaking sucks is my thought.
