A seductive fragrance interpretation of Yves Saint Laurent's iconic white T-shirt and black jacket. In my view Y EDP is just another boring Sauvage/Dylan Blue/Bleu de Chanel rehash, nothing special and even a bit crass and vulgar. I'd rather wear Al-Rehab Dakar, a Drakkar Noir dupe that's more enjoyable to me than Y EDP in every way.The Y Eau de Toilette by Yves Saint Laurent (2017) range was to be their great new masculine pillar, and originally thought as an ostensible men's version of Y by Yves Saint Laurent (1964), they debut perfume by the house; but nope, they discontinued that too!
But the Y did catch my attention more at the store. BDC edp is the far superior scent between the two. Y is playful and juvenile. BDC is classier and elegant. I own both and I find Bleu de Chanel the easier, lighter, more versatile scent.Y Eau de Parfum by Yves Saint Laurent is a Aromatic Fougere fragrance for men. Y Eau de Parfum was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Dominique Ropion. YSL Y EDP keeps getting 10/10 reactions in videos, I am hesitant to pull the trigger on getting this fragrance due to it's "generic" connotation but damn guys it even beats Aventus in most head 2 head videos.Y by Yves Saint Laurent is a Chypre Fruity fragrance for women. Y was launched in 1964. The nose behind this fragrance is Michel Hy. Top notes are Aldehydes, Green Notes, Galbanum, Honeysuckle, Peach, Gardenia and Mirabelle Plum; middle notes are Hiacynth, Orris Root, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine, Bulgarian Rose and Tuberose; base notes are Oakmoss . It disappeared from my skin very quickly, and remained a skin scent on my shirt that you have to bury your nose in to detect a remnant. I love the EDP, Parfum, and Elixir, but this new Intense seems to be a muted skin scent at best and at nearly 0 I .YSL Y EDP. Scent: A ‘shower gel’ fragrance that stays sharp and fresh throughout the day with prominent apple & herbaceous notes. Performance: 8 - 10 hours longevity with 3 feet projection for the first 2 hours. Occasions: This can be worn in any environment as a ‘signature’ fragrance.
