My Breitling is a very new model and has Swiss Made or Manufacture En Suisse on the dial, the caseback and the movement. In these photos you can see that the 46 and 42mm models clearly say "Swiss Made" on the dial, as you would expect. However, it is nowhere to be found on the 38mm model dial (or case back, for that matter). While Breitling is a Swiss watch company with a long history of producing high-quality timepieces, not all of their watches are 100% Swiss made. In order for a watch to be considered Swiss made, it must meet certain criteria set forth by the Swiss government.

Recently there seems to be a shift back to putting it on the dials, maybe because of the urban legend that if they don't have Swiss Made on the dial they were actually outsourced to Asia (not true).
