It was returned late last month and now it works fine except for one thing -- the rotating bezel is very hard to turn and it seemed to be harder in some orientations than others. I've given it a couple baths using Dawn Power Spray dish soap, rinsed the bezel out well, turned the bezel under running warm water (not as easy to do on this watch since it's stiff), and have turned the bezel several times (probably 50 times).
The bezel is stiff and harder to rotate on my 13 year old Submariner ND 14060 A serial compared to a new model Sub that I test drove today in a local AD. Any suggestions why? The guy in the store said probably because it has been polished..and over the years this happens. A couple of days ago, I noticed the bezel was not clicking strongly like normal when I turned it. I have tried submerging and running water over the watch while turning the bezel several times and it has not improved. Got my 116610 in August. The bezel was nearly impossible to turn. I took some unwaxed (that's important here) floss and cleaned out around the bezel. Obviously these are two different implementations of a rotating bezel but it may be worth a shot.

If you still have difficulty turning the bezel there could be some sand or dirt lodged beneath the bezel and it can scratch the parts pretty easily. Then remove the bezel and spring and carefully clean them. I recently purchased a Rolex from a regular jewelry store and the bezel was working. Ideally you get Snug to taunt the skeletons and kite them away while Brogan tanks the Harvester. Keeping the golem at mid-range keeps it alive. The Harvester is considered a flesh golem.OMG. Its means Cold Iron Runes will not work on the 'boss'.
